3 PAST EVENTS
The last few months have provided many memories among the brothers, their parents, and the KA Alumni base.
Recently, the annual Convivium trip took the brothers to the French Quarter in New Orleans. The trip spanned 4 days and featured the formal event on Sunday, January 18.
After Thanksgiving on Friday, November 25, 2026, the Yellow Jackets hosted UGA at Mercedes Benz Stadium. A vibrant tailgate took place, with live music and a ton of people.
Saturday, October 25, 2025, was Homecoming. The chapter hosted a tailgate before the GT-Syracuse game. There was an Alumni breakfast in the morning, followed by BBQ after the game..
September 19-20, 2025 was the Fall Parents’ Weekend, with the Temple football game. Parents, siblings, and friends of the current brothers all came together to enjoy food and live music.
4 PHILANTHROPY
Working alongside KA Nationals, the Alpha Sigma Chapter is proud to continue our partnership with The Independence Fund. The Independence Fund is dedicated to improving the lives of both veterans and their families through mobility by donating an all-terrain Track Chair to veterans wounded in battle. Since 2016, the Kappa Alpha Order has raised $2,000,000 in support of The Independence Fund. We are going to push hard this year to raise money to present a Track Chair to a wounded veteran at a football game this Fall, so any donations to our Chapter Philanthropy Fund goes straight to the purchase of a Track Chair for these veterans wounded in battle. We really appreciate any and all donations!
For questions regarding any of the above information, please contact Tyson Swindell (912-237-2065) or Jackson Clifton (770-313-7195).

Dear Alumni, Parents, and Friends,
Thank you all for coming out to our homecoming tailgate this past football season. We look forward to seeing you again for our Spring Parents/Alumni Weekend (04/24-04/25), and for our next homecoming tailgate this upcoming fall. Both of these events will be wonderful opportunities to revisit campus and reconnect with other members of the Alpha Sigma Chapter.
We have been inspired by other Kappa Alpha Order chapters across the country by how they support The Independence Fund, and our chapter also wants to support these wounded veterans by helping them regain their freedom through mobility. Please consider donating to our chapter philanthropy fund in support of this cause. Feel free to reach out with any questions to Tyson Swindell (912-237-2065).
Please reach out in any manner with questions, concerns, or even just to say hello! I would love to hear your opinions and preferences for upcoming Alumni/Parents events, and I will do my best to accommodate your requests.
Sincerely,
Jackson Clifton
